Artistic Statement
I’ve always had more ideas than I can hold at once. Making work is how I narrow them down. I choose a direction, act on it, and let the process clarify what matters.
I tend to move quickly at the beginning, then slow down as the work starts to push back. That shift is where judgment replaces instinct, and decisions become more deliberate. Knowing when to stop is as important to me as knowing how to begin.
My work isn’t tied to a single material or approach. What stays consistent is the way each piece is allowed to arrive at its own resolution.
I think of art as the visual representation of the imagination.
